Our 10 Steps to Total Restoration

  1. Water Extraction and Exterior Debris Removal.

Water damage provides the most immediate danger to property and contents.

  2. Complete Deodorization of Structure and Contents.

Unpleasant odors linger long after the visible mess is cleaned up. Odor removal should be started before anything, including the debris, is moved.

  3. Sealing and Cleaning of Air Circulation Systems.

Duct work, air shafts, elevator shafts, stairwells and false ceilings provide a way for soot, dust and odor to be recirculated. They must be cleaned and sealed to ensure an odor free project.

  4. General Cleanup and Debris Removal.

Demolition of consumed and destroyed materials. Transferral (if necessary) of interior furnishings to prevent vandalism and hasten repairs and restoration.

  5. Cleaning of Walls, Floors and Hard Surfaces.

Teams will hand clean with degreasing and deodoring solutions, or use dry-cleaning techniques if necessary. Surfaces will be sprayed, scrubbed, rinsed and sealed.

  6. Restoration of Wood Furniture, Fixtures and Floors.

Wood restoration techniques involve cleaning and replacement of oils to overcome dryness then finishing and polishing to retain the original color and finish.

  7. Cleaning and Inspection of Appliances and Machinery.

Kitchens appliances, business machines, electronics and electric systems will be evaluated by experts, repaired or replaced as necessary.

  8. Cleaning and deodorization of carpets, Draperies, Clothes and Furniture.

Seldom are fabrics damaged beyond restoration. They will be hand treated, deodorized and cleaned, using special dry cleaning techniques, while other work is in progress.

  9. Reconstruction

Rebuilding or restoration of structure, walls or floors will be performed by on-staff carpenters and supervised while other work is in progress.

  10. Re-Assembly

After any necessary reconstruction, all furniture, appliances, and fixtures removed for repair will be returned to their proper place. Small furniture, papers, accessories, pictures and ornaments are put back in their original positions.
