SystemCare locations across the province were busy during the holiday season responding to emergency calls from the wind, water and snow that battered the province in December. Four storms hit the region during the month bringing with them some 800 emergency calls and millions of dollars worth of damages.
Bernie Dunlap, President of the SystemCare group of companies, assisted with the efforts, prioritizing the calls, organizing extra crews and liaising with the customers and Insurance professionals. "It was a very busy time" he said, "not your normal operations, with companies calling in anywhere from twenty to forty claims at a time. The focus now for the group is to attend to the repairs and complete all the documentation required before the next storm hits Nova Scotia."
